I am Andrew Bruggeman.

At the end of February 2015, I was diagnosed with lymphoma, testicular to be precise. I was told it was rare and aggressive, but it was a ‘good’ cancer to get! Phew, what a relief!

I was told to take time off work whilst going through treatment. Being a qualified chef, it was always going to be hard to cook with no sense of smell or taste and with hair falling out in the food.

“Excuse me waiter, there’s a wig in my soup!”

So, what could I do to fill in the days? Start a blog of course. And throw ‘well being’ in the title!

With my two other passions, beside my family, being cooking and gardening, I thought I would combine the two here in ‘The Well Being Garden’.
