CCBG JUICE
What better way to start the recipe section than with a juice. Each day I drink about 500 ml of freshly squeezed juice, using an old-fashioned centrifugal juicer. Not quite cold-pressing or shooting Nutra-bullets yet. The base of all my juices is a majority mix of carrots and celery, then beetroot and ginger. Here I’ve thrown in two apples from my tree as well. Doing some research, I found this combo to be a winner. And they are easy to grow!
Makes 1.5 litres
1 kg carrots
60 g of ginger
300 g beetroot
1 kg celery ( stalk and leaves )
